- Accreditation: Since 1930, the UB School of Management has been continuously
accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate
Schools of Business. Of the more than 7,000 business schools in the
world, only 529 are accredited by AACSB. This prestigious accreditation is considered to be the hallmark of management education. The accounting
program was accredited in 1985, one of only 169 programs in the country
to achieve this level of recognition.
- Eight members of our faculty are recipients of the SUNY
Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching, which recognizes outstanding teaching ablility through superb classroom performance. These scholars bring to their classes broad interests and current, far-ranging knowledge. They are Professor Ronald Huefner, Professor Arun Jain, Professor Jerry Newman, Professor Lewis Mandell, Associate Professor Kenneth Kim, Associate Professor Frank Krzystofiak, Associate Professor Philip Perry and Associate Professor Natalie Simpson.
