The Frank L. Ciminelli Family Career Resource
Center serves as the primary resource for students and
alumni of the School of Management in career exploration and job
search. The Center is a key link between the school and employers,
offering many programs that bring these groups together, such as
MBA consortia, the alumni Telementor Program, internships, campus
recruiting, and career development workshops and seminars.
The mission of the Career Resource Center is to create an
environment that enables and motivates students to be successful in reaching
their career goals. For day students just starting out, or evening students
supplementing established careers, the Career Resource Center provides
a full range of services and resources to help students connect with the
job market. Programs range from career strategy seminars to "practice"
interviewingcomplete with videotape. Through the Center, students
have access to multiple career assessment and exploration tools, computers
with Internet access, fax machine services and a private telephone for
contacting prospective employers and telementors.
The Career Resource Center is dedicated to serving employers
effectively and efficiently by providing them with qualified candidates
who are able to make immediate contributions to business goals. The Center
accomplishes this by partnering with School of Management faculty and
staff to match qualified students with each job opportunity. State-of-the-art
technologies such as web-based job postings, videoconference interviewing
and our national award-winning Student Information System database are
used to complement traditional methods of on-campus and off-campus recruiting.
